Great location!! Close to Piccadilly, St James park, Buckingham Palace where you can get walking 30’ aprox, Oxford circus station and a block away from Bond St Station, Elizabeth line will take you in 35’ to Heathrow Airport. Reception was in another building, it would’ve be nice to know in advance that my room was in the next door building, I went up the stairs to the reception to check in with my suitcase and then I had to go down with suitcase and go to next door building, my room was in the 3rd floor not elevator, so went up the stairs again with suitcase Other than the extra steps with heavy suitcase, everything was ok, good size room, clean bathroom, quiet hotel. They cleaned my room and changed towels every day, that was nice. They let me Leave the keys in the room when I checked out, that avoided me the trip to the other building!!
We stayed in the mermaid suit family room on the fourth floor, the room was spacious with windows on both sides allowing for a cool breeze. The room was basic with firm but comfortable beds. It was clean, but decor is looking a little tired. For a basic hotel in a good location it was acceptable. We payed £250 for one night stay as a family of four.
Browsing through the reviews I was kind of expecting worse than what I faced upon arrival. The guy at the reception was very kind, explained where the room is located, how the key card works etc. The room was quite big, the bed sheets clean, the bed itself is huge for one person. The bathroom was clean and tidy, it also had liquid soap dispensers. The carpet could do with a bit more hoovering, that is the only drawback I can think of. The hotel is at an excellent location, room service came every day to make the bed. Overall my stay was very comfortable, and the price was fair for the services given.
The carpet wasn't the cleanest (there was dust in the corners), but the bed sheets were definitely clean. The room's not huge, but definintely one of the bigger rooms I've had and stayed at in London. You have a hair dryer and get a towel per person. There's no shampoo, shower gel, etc. (-I didn't/don't need it, because I bring my own stuff, but I am simply letting ppl know.) What I love about this place is the area, the fact that there are many shops and restaurants surrounding it, multiple train stations close by and many windows in the room.
Will definitely come back again! Really nice room and a great location I only spoke to the Man on Reception who checked us in. He was really lovely. I was silly and didn't do my research and didn't realise there was no lifts and my Mum is on Crutches. When he saw her without making a fuss he changed our room to the one right by reception which is easier to get to. He was really sweet about it The room was clean, spacious, comfy beds. Yorkshire Tea bags which was a big yes from my Mum Round the corner from a bus stop and a short walk to the underground with plenty of shops nearby and restaurants nearby too!
Lovely environment and ambience and staff are very nice and helpful with everything and they really go out there way to make your stay perfect..rooms are pristine and everything is as you would expect and location is spot on with good parking will definitely stay again without any doubt.
